About the Press
Religación Press, is an e-book publisher that seeks to position the debates, ideas, and experience that take place in the Global South. We foster a space where authors can think together, challenge political "common sense" and explore new possibilities. Our current work focuses on addressing these realities from the Social Sciences and Humanities.
We are a publishing house built from the South for the South, with the aim of becoming in the future an important source of reference for researchers and young students from the Global South.
Aware that the value of the ideas and efforts of our authors need academic and professional support, we are concerned about meeting all the professional, technical, and ethical parameters that allow us to produce quality works that can be disseminated in the main databases and bookstores in the world.
Open Access
The books published by Religación Press are based on the Open Access ecosystem. This allows the final version of the works to be free and immediately accessible to all on a permanent basis after publication. Copyright is retained by the authors and most permission barriers are eliminated. Readers will be able to access and download the works free of charge immediately after publication.
Copyrights
Authors retain their rights as creators of the works published by Religación Press.

Indexing
Currently the publishing house has received evaluation and approval for indexing in EBSCO and Proquest, part of Clarivate and Dialnet.
Additionally, the editorial production is added in Google Books, Google Scholar, among others.
Types of publications
Religación Press publishes four types of digital works: Individual works, Collective works, Theses in book format, and Congress and Conference Proceedings.
Publication Fees
Religación Press does not receive public funds, it receives partial funding from CICSHAL-RELIGACIÓN. Centro de Investigación en Ciencias y Humanidades de América Latina. Additionally, it is financed by contributions from authors that allow us to sustain the entire editorial process that involves the participation of both human talent and external technical services that allow and guarantee the publication of works with high academic and technical electronic standards.
Aware of the economic reality of our regions, and given that Religación Press is not a non-profit organization, we have defined rates below the average in Latin America.
In addition, we offer discounts and extra subsidies for those cases that require it.
