Publish a book

If you are interested in sharing your knowledge and research, publishing your work in a peer-reviewed Religación Press Open Access book ensures that it will be read by a wide audience. Our processes are efficient and aim for rapid visibility in the Latin American and global academic fields.

Religación Press seeks proposals from authors who show their interest in the experiences and experiences of the different fields of action in the Global South.

Religación Press, presents two types of individual books.

  1. Books resulting from research.
  • Minimum length: 50,000 words (May include up to four authors).

  • Books of academic essays
  • Literary essay, short story, novel, poetry, chronicle, short story, reflection. Minimum 50,000 words

 Characteristics:

  • The book will have the respective ISBN registration.
  • Assignment of DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to the book through CrossRef.
  • Professional cover
  • Text formatting
  • Peer review (research books)
  • Proofreading
  • Typesetting
  • Book generation in interactive and modern PDF format*.
  • Book generation in EPUB format (apple electronic devices and reading applications)
  • Dissemination of the book (RELIGACION-CICSHAL social and academic networks)
  • Metadata and web generation with interoperability designed for academic books.
  • Progressive indexing in databases, libraries, and important repositories at the regional and global levels. Initially: CLACSO, Google Scholar, CORE, BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine), World Cat. Later applications will be submitted to DOAB (Directory of Open Access Books), EBSCO, REDIB, Muse Project, etc.
  • Linking of the website with the author's ORCID account.

 

 Publication process:

  1. After adapting your work to Religacion Press editorial standards. You must send two files to our e-mail (press@religacion.com):
  2. The Religación Press team will create a user on the publisher's website and upload your work. You will receive two e-mails (User and password to access the website, and a confirmation of the uploading of the work).
  3. The work will be sent for peer review. To find out the status of your submitted proposal, you will only need to log in to the website and check its status.
  4. Once the review process is completed, a notification will be sent to your email with the result. The objective is to make changes that will improve the quality and result in the content of interest to the reading public. The author/s will have a determined time to make the suggested changes and will send the final version.
  5. At this point, the author/authors will proceed to fill in the publication fees for the book.
  6. After receiving the final version from the author, we will proceed to adjust in terms of style that were pending and the PDF and EPUB versions will be produced. Religación Press does not convert the word file to PDF, but creates a new file in Adobe InDesign, hence the quality of its production, a modern, interactive, light, indexed PDF and EPUB, etc**.
  7. A proof version of the PDF of the work will be sent to the author for review. After the author's approval, we will proceed with web data validation and metadata generation.
  8. The publisher will manage the ISBN and DOI assignments and finally proceed with the publication of the book.

 

 

  • Minimum length: 10,000 words (May include up to three authors).
  • Book of academic essays (May include up to a maximum of three authors).
  • Reflection books, primers, texts, essays, among others.
  • Literary essay, short story, novel, poetry, chronicle, short story. Minimum 50,000 words.

 

*We do not do a simple conversion from Microsoft Word to PDF, Religación Press does a professional editing job. Our goal is quality in all phases of production (content and form).

** These processes are external, so they require different times and processes.
