Studies on sex education, gender and sex-affective diversity in the educational context

The book compiles 17 chapters where research results, proposals for educational intervention, analysis and reflections on current issues of social relevance related to sexual education, the gender perspective in education and socio-affective diversity in the educational environment are presented. Authors from Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Spain participate. Its purpose is to contribute to the construction of a broader and deeper knowledge about how sexuality and gender are understood and addressed in school spaces at different educational levels and offer perspectives and strategies to foster a more inclusive educational environment where the sexual rights of the student population are respected and promoted. Likewise, it seeks to contribute to the discussion and understanding of sexuality and gender in education and their place and role in education, contributing to both theoretical development and educational practice.
