The present guide, titled “Evaluation of Learning,” has been designed with the aim of supporting students in the third cycle of the Basic Education program in their academic preparation. This guide provides a comprehensive approach to various essential aspects of learning assessment, including the conception, relevance, and types of evaluation applied to basic education, the design of assessment instruments for students in basic education, types of evaluation based on purpose and level of participation, data analysis and interpretation from assessments, and feedback to enhance learning. Each topic is presented clearly, accompanied by definitions that facilitate understanding. To support learning, a self-assessment and a glossary are included at the end of each section.
