This collective work analyzes global and local economic transformations in the context of the crisis of the neoliberal model and the growing demand for sustainability and inclusion. Through five thematic axes, the book critically examines the challenges and alternatives in economics teacher training, the application of the circular economy in the agricultural sector, the geopolitical reconfigurations of globalization, the energy transition in Ecuador, and financial inclusion in small businesses. The chapters highlight the need to rethink traditional economic paradigms, proposing critical pedagogical approaches, regenerative production models, sovereign strategies in the face of the global crisis, and policies that prioritize equity and local development. The volume concludes that, although the challenges are complex, there are viable paths to build fairer, more resilient economic systems aligned with the social and environmental imperatives of the 21st century.
