This book analyzes research experiences in health from the perspective of the care sciences, aiming to highlight their role in knowledge generation and the transformation of professional nursing practices. Based on an analytical review of recent contributions, it examines the contributions of care throughout the different stages of the life cycle, from childhood to old age, emphasizing the importance of research as a means to strengthen comprehensive care, health promotion, and the humanization of care. It concludes that the care sciences, by integrating biological, psychological, and social approaches, constitute an essential field for innovation in health, supporting clinical and community practice on scientific, ethical, and humanistic bases. Research experiences in health from the care sciences make it possible to consolidate a professional practice grounded in evidence, critical thinking, and the ethics of care. The integration of research into nursing education and professional practice promotes more comprehensive, equitable, and humanized care. Likewise, these experiences contribute to strengthening disciplinary knowledge, developing specific theoretical models, and implementing more effective health strategies. Consequently, the care sciences are consolidated as a fundamental pillar for the advancement of health research, oriented towards the well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
