This book presents the main harmful effects of climatic changes on the work of channeling, storage, treatment, and distribution of drinking water for human consumption. It describes how the lack of business and governmental foresight to establish strategies and support plans that guarantee the supply and distribution of drinking water in an equitable and fair way, makes us look again at the work of communities and native peoples of the world, the possibility of finding imaginative solutions to the damage caused by the self-interested neglect of a basic human right, such as the right to drinking water and sewage. It identifies and questions the spirals of silence and the dead ends built through diverse and varied forms of water and sewage management. It takes stock of business performance in this area and presents an alternative for management in and with the community. The perspective of the work is to advance towards the formation of an entrepreneurial current that looks without worries at guaranteeing access to water under the principle of to each according to his need and to each according to his possibility.
