Synopsis

Medication administration is one of the fundamental areas of nursing, requiring knowledge, precision, and adherence to ethical and professional principles. In the second semester of the Nursing Technology degree, the Medication Administration course, from May to September 2024, is key to training future professionals. This course trains students to safely and effectively administer medications to patients of all ages. Through four units, the technical and bioethical aspects of drug administration are addressed, ensuring safe and careful interventions. The guide promotes a reflective and analytical approach, guaranteeing patient safety in every intervention.
