“El Buen Julio”. Narrative analysis of the Ecuadorian film as a learning strategy.

The Book presents an analysis of the narrative of the Ecuadorian film “El Buen Julio” and its impact on the students of a school in Guayaquil. Having as a premise that Ecuadorian cinema is very scarce, it is intended to remove this cultural deficiency, presenting this audiovisual piece, to favor high school students in the interpretation, so that they can better discern and understand the cinematographic narrative proposals. The typology used was the qualitative approach; Through a narrative analysis with a phenomenological and functional design of an interpretive nature, to meet the general objective and the specific objectives in relation to the research problem and the results obtained, eight participants from the school were selected, applying an interview with eight questions. total. The relationship between the study categories and the question model, for the online interviews, managed to define the communication study and the narrative analysis of the cinematographic language, having as results, the importance of entertainment and training, as narrative value of the work. audiovisual. This work became a necessary study task, which concluded with aspects that allowed the value of culture to be identified.
