Synopsis

The book gathers research carried out in the field of health in different contexts of Latin America. Its contributions seek to make visible various elements of the sphere of life such as health policies for transgender people, pedagogical perspectives for the approach and prevention of infections associated with health care, the search for health promotion from Higher Education Institutions, proposals for antiviral properties on the influenza virus by means of fruit peels, to the use of artificial intelligence as a tool for knowledge management in dentistry. As can be seen, the studies are theoretical-practical and allow the dissemination of high-profile research in the academic community.
