Synopsis

The book "Research in education. Possibilities, tensions and challenges. Volume I" explores a variety of educational topics in eighteen chapters. These include educational inclusion, the use of historical narratives, gamification in history teaching, creativity in elementary students, Andean ancestral knowledge, online classes during the pandemic, competency assessment in engineering, Python certification, learning environment, indigenous language teaching, sex education, university social responsibility, digital capabilities, and the responsibility of thesis advisors in Latin America. The contents offer a unique and detailed perspective on contemporary challenges in education. They provide innovative tools and approaches to improve teaching practice and student learning. Through case studies, theoretical analysis and practical applications, the authors invite readers to reflect on the complexity of education in the 21st century. Each chapter of this volume invites to rethink education and seek creative and effective solutions to current challenges.
