Synopsis

“Education and undergraduate professional training in Mexico: teaching with an intention for the future” is a collective work structured in two parts and composed of fifteen chapters. The first part is made up of four reflective studies that are situated in the ideal of reinventing the humanistic education that the 21st century needs, to redefine a social conscience based on the common good, the application of an integral educational model, models of community education and with a gender perspective. The second contains eleven cases that open the doors to teacher training institutions (teacher training colleges and teacher training centers) and public universities to show teachers who make teaching an academic and ethical commitment, by virtue of the fact that they think of themselves as agents of change in the face of a situation or problem in the teaching and learning processes of their undergraduate students.
