Socio-educational processes and pedagogical innovation in Mexico and Colombia

This book comprises twelve social studies of education. The topics addressed revolve around the analysis of the curricular appropriation of current Mexican educational policy, organizational climate as a resource for improving workplace coexistence, pedagogical practice permeated by political subjectivity in the context of the 2021 uprising in Colombia, the constituent process of the University Charter of Commitment to Human Rights, the proposal for a rubric for transformative assessment at the university level, the pilot program for peer tutoring among university students, the dehumanization resulting from the implementation of efficient and effective bureaucracy in higher education institutions, the use of technological tools and artificial intelligence for teaching, school administration, and the completion of tasks; projects and research call for continuous training programs for teachers in digital competencies and ethics. Each chapter analyzes part of the sociocultural change and the reforms of educational systems that seek to join innovation and social transformation.
