This collective volume examines the challenges and transformations of Latin American education from a critical and situated perspective. Through multiple case studies in Colombia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic, the work analyzes key dimensions such as pedagogical leadership for evaluative innovation, tensions in public university financing, and the impact of immersive technologies on teaching. It also addresses emerging issues including student demotivation, emotional sovereignty in conflict territories, gender bias in school textbooks, and linguistic revitalization in Mapuche communities. Indigenous ethnoeducation is presented as a decolonizing pathway. An integral look at the structural challenges and innovative practices shaping the educational future of the region.
