Education, Society and Knowledge. Transdisciplinary Perspectives for a World in Transformation (Volumen I)
Keywords:
transdisciplinarity, artificial intelligence, educational inclusion, inequality, teacher training.Synopsis
This volume offers an overview of the tensions crossing contemporary education and society. Through a transdisciplinary approach, the chapters examine the emergence of artificial intelligence, the challenges of inclusion, and the digital divides affecting Indigenous communities. Likewise, the revitalization of Indigenous languages, the role of cinema and memory in education, and the precarious working conditions of university faculty are addressed. The work problematizes pedagogical practices, learning assessment, and the emotional dimension of the student body, underscoring the need to build more equitable educational environments. As a whole, it invites a rethinking of how global transformations reconfigure educational processes, knowledge production, and the construction of subjectivities in contexts of persistent inequality.
